I have 4 12 year olds again

Well I now have 4 12 year olds again. Trayton turned 12 I can't believe that my baby is 12. were does the time go it seams crazy I just brought him home from the hospital watched him change and grow into a great young man. Trayton got to go Hooters with his uncle Chris (is that right to let your 12 year old go to such an adult place?) He had a great time and he said the food was great. we had a good birthday he went to a movie with me and his dad. I just can't believe that my baby is turning into a young man.

Baseball

Baseball My boys love it. Trayton is getting so good at it he is hititng the ball. last year he couldn't hit the ball and had no confdence. this year he is hitting and having a great time.

Brodey is just learning as you can see he wants to be the catcher. he is playing t-ball. He is learning to catch the ball when he throws it up. Brodey and Trayton were outside playing Trayton was teaching Brodey to hit the ball and how to hold the ball it was so cute. Trayton was so good with him. It was great to see them get along for once.

I wish they would get along like that all the time.

The boys are hard working trying to make fence so the their cows wont get out. but don't forget to turn off the old fence before you touch it!!

just kiding there is always time to play around.

Trayton is making fence so his babies will have more grass. the fair is getting closer every day. we have so much work to do. walking, bathing, hair cuts and just getting them used to people being around them.

the pigs might be a little harder, he has to walk them with a whip and have them just walk around with him. Trayton has to watch the pigs and keep his eyes on the judge at all times. he is good and can do it if he works with them at home.

Trayton working hard so he can get good marks at the fair. Toad is loving haveing pigs and cows here again. I think toad would sleep with the cows and pigs if he john and I would let him.

The animals are all doing good and growing and getting ready for the fair.

up date

Looking back it has been a while since I have up dated my family. The school year is coming to an end and the big kids are ready to have the summer. I am ready for the summer too but the summer allways goes so fast and I am back to school before you know it.
the kids are all doing good. trayton is getting this animals ready for the fair. he is going to show two jersey Fred and Shaggy. they are doing good. just about done with the bottle that makes me happy I am tired of all the milk replacer on my counter tops. Trayton's pigs are doing good. getting so big we are going to have to hand feed them before to long. they can't be over 290 I think the big pig is pushing 200lbs he will have to start walking a way the pounds with me.
Danielle is trying to figure out how to be 12 she is too big to play with toys and not yet big enough to hang with the big girls. School is going very good for her is tries hard and wants to do good things in life.
William is still struggling with math but brought it up enough to go on the field trip today. so we know he can do it just wanting to do it is another story.
Cheyenne still thinks she all big and bad and can beat up everyone that gets in her way. when is she going to be a girl?
toad is doing great. can't believe how much he is reading and writing Kdg is going to be great for him next year he will be so ready for the 1st grade. the question is will i be ready the 1st grade?
John is doing very well he quit smoking 2 months ago I am so proud of him. it was hard work and still is but he is doing great. I love to kiss him now his breath is so nice.
Me I'm still trying to loose the weight I have lost 35 pounds and 7 inches off my waist so it is coming off it just takes a little bit of time.
so we are all good just waiting for the summer and warm weather and the great out doors.

fell of the wagon

I just wanted to up date you all on my status with the weight loss. I am sitting at 30 lbs still trying to hit my goal weight but am having a little trouble. I need my motivation back! Today is the day that I will eat my small meals and fruit stay out of the lounge at work. and eat more fish. I will continue to do my walking. I will keep telling myself that it is all worth it. I will get into the pants that I have been waiting to get into for a long time. I will do it again.

I will need help I will need the positive rewards so I keep going. I just need to it again.

Today is the day I will do it and I will!!

sick kids

what do you do with the boo hoo baby? that is what I ask myself when I have a sick kid. you know they act like they are dying and need to be waited on hand and foot. they need to have their needs met before anything else is done. well when you have 5 children and one is sick it makes it hard to get things done and take care of them.
I would have to say that this school year I have been very lucky, I haven't had to miss much work or deal with to many sick kids. we had strep throat so I had to take Willie to the doctor. but other then that they all have been pretty healthly.
we were so lucky that no one else got it even after toad got home and took a big drink out of willies drink.
Toad was outside playing yesterday it was nice and he is the type of kid that would live outside if he could. When he came in and said he wanted to rest I knew something was wrong. at supper he wouldn't eat then went and laid down. I checked his temp 102.0 he took some meds and was out like a light. there was no waking him up. at 11pm it was 101.8 and at 3 it was 100. so we went down this morning it is 99.9 so hopefully we are on a mend. He is now watching a movie which he never does that he is playing farm or outside riding his bike so maybe we still have some mending to do. wish me luck with the sick toad!

triplets birthday

Willie not quite sure what he is doing waiting for his cake and ice cream or just wanting the spot light off of him not used to have it all due to him having to share everything being a triplet and all!

the big 12 year old I can't believe how time has go so fast I met them when they were four. when playing outside was the only things important for them now have the mp3 players and computers and name brand clothes.

Chey helping me frost the cake or should I say getting into trouble! she wanted a little frosting to eat a little piece of cake. I thought she wanted to lick the spoon and I missed her mouth. Well she cleaned it off and ate it. so she had her cake and frosting too!

They had a great birthday family came to spend the day with them and help celebrate their last year before they are teenagers. I can't believe how much they have changed and are growing up so fast.

so I have 3 down and one to go and I will have 4 12 year old please help me keep me my marbles I am sure I will lose them with all the changes they are about to go through. may be they will do one at a time but why would they start that now they haven't done anything by themselves yet.

need some help

WE have a little bit of trouble here my son has a cow for his 4-h project and we can't think of a name for this little guy. We got him when he was 2 days old. He couldn't get up on his own and couldn't walk due to birthing trouble. So we brought him home cleaned him up fed him a bottle and put a heat lamp on him. Sunday night he was up and moving his back leg was still unsteady and we didn't know if his leg was going to straighten up. but more bottles, heat, and Trayton got him up and moving. well now he is moving (sometimes Trayton wishes he couldn't move so fast) he has ripped his nipple off the bottle and buts Trayotn when the milk doesn't come out fast enough. he is turning out to be a good little cow. My little guy who I babysit for keeps calling him a dog because he is the size of our Stella I keep telling him it is a cow and he says no dog.

so any ways we need help naming the little guy I don't like calling him cow. her are some pics please help me name my little cow.

20 pounds

Its been about 5 weeks and I have lost 20 pounds. I have been very good at staying with my workout everyday at 4pm, I slip my dvd in and walk for 45 minutes it is a hard 45 min but the more I put into it the more I get out of it. I enjoy my work out it gives me time to myself and time to think.
When I started to work out I didn't think it would work and I didn't put all my energy into. I did it because I wanted to prove myself wrong and prove to everyone that I had medical problems and wanted an easy way out or just give up because it wouldn't work. But when I lost 5 lbs the 1st week was so excited and found out that it did work. So the next week I put my whole heart into and lost 11 lbs latter I was even more happy.
I don't about being on a diet any more I just think about a change in my life to make me healthy and my kids. They are learning to eat well and try new foods. Some they like and some they don't. fish being the one they don't like.
so like I said before fitness stinks but I love it.

toothles toad is back

Toad is now toothless again! he lost his other front tooth now he matches all the 1st graders but wait he isn't in 1st grade he is only in kindergarten! But if we all remember he got his 1st tooth at 3 months and then they all come in after that. He is so excited to see what the tooth fairy brings him.

My little boy is growing up he is going to start to go through the ugly stage with big front teeth and the rest of them little. I can't believe that he has lots 4 teeth already and most kids don't lose their teeth until they are about 7 so he is just a little bit early. that's OK we will still love him.

six years together

Six years ago weather just like today (snowing) my husband and I got ready to turn our two separate families into one big family.

The roads were so bad the news was saying if you don't have be out on the roads stay home. Well we had to get to the rehearsal so we would know what to do so we ventured out with 4, 5 year olds my husband knew how to drive in the snow so he did all the driving. when we made to the church the minister had her over night bags pack she was staying at the church for the night so she would be ready for the wedding.

the roads were so bad nobody was out except for us and our wedding party.

The big day came February 15 we woke up to a nice big white blanket of snow with more coming down. they roads still not clear and travel was not recommended. I was sick couldn't take any meds. the girls had hair appointments they were about 20 minutes away I was talking to John and he said lets call it off! I started to cry my sister was trying to clam me down so she called john to see what he meant and he just wanted to call the girls hair appointment off not the wedding!

My sisters, and the other brides maids and I got our hair done and were ready to go to the church. It turned out to be a great wedding we had lots of people show up. and John didn't want to call it off after all! We did get one good thing out of the snow we got the best wedding picture ever! which I can't post because we didn't have digital camras.

Over the six years we added one more child to our family. some house pets and some farm animals some tears, some laugh but most of all we have each other.

Our wedding day was full of snow that just show us that we can over come the weather and make our day special we can over come the up and downs life has to offer us.

may my husband and I have no more snows storms but if we do I hope we can shovel ourselves out.

fitness stinks

It has been three weeks since i started my fitness routine and let me tell you I feel so good and can't believe how long it has taken me to get this going. I always said I need to see results before i would keep up with it. well results i have! I have more energy throughout the day I don't need my afternoon pop to keep me going. I have noticed little things about the way I look but not much I just feel my watch move around and my ring comes off. I know that sounds funny but when your watch is tight on your wrist and it doesn't move around it makes you feel good to feel it move again! I asked my husband if he could see anything different and he said he could see some so that makes me happy. I have set little goals for me for each week. this week is to get through my new workout let me tell you this one i borrowed from my friend is hard it kills me I think I like my little walk away the pounds it has helped me so far. it is a good work out and it makes me feel good. i can't wait until it gets a little warmer and the sun stays out longer so me and Stella can walk at night (and maybe she will sleep in in the morning!)
I thought the food would be the hardest part of weightless but it is going great I eat more fruit and measure out my cereal so I don't over eat. If I know that I am to have cake or somethings that is not so good for me I would eat a smaller lunch and workout a little longer. If I tell myself I can't have it it makes me want it more so I let myself have it and just eat a small bite and leave the room so I don't want more. I tell myself that I'm not on a diet I am just changing my way of life! my children are learning to sometimes I even have them workout with me or I have them watch me and cheer me on it feel good to have the support from all my family. with out them I wouldn't be able to do it. Let me tell you it is hard work but if you stick with it and change little things in your life you can get to the weight you want to be. if you want a work out partner look me up I would love to have a work out buddy! Stella is doing great in her new home. she loves all her kids and jumping on Willie's bed. Stella isn't allowed on beds but she likes that one. she is a very good puppy. she is doing much better on her leash she is making pee and poops outside now she still needs to be walked but we all need to be walked.

let me tell the kids have learned to clean up poop very good. she has spots in the living room that she likes very much. she has very stinky poop let me tell you! she loves to play with her toys and chew on her bone. I think she is starting to know her name and comes when she is called. we got lucky with puppy.

she went to the vet today to get her puppy shots she was a good girl and the vet said she was very pretty puppy and she looks great. all the kids loves her and so do I she is one lucky dog to have 5 children that love her and play with her.

she does need to sleep some because she gets tired with all the love the 4/4 and a toad give her.

A NEW PUPPY FOR THE NEAL

I would like for you all to meet the newest family member. She is a 3 month old German Shepherd with big ears and all! Her name is Pretty Girl Stella Sassy Bear. she gets her name after her dad and mom. We say an add in the paper for puppies for several weeks and my husband kept saying we should call they people we got her from has had several German shepherds so he knew they would be good dogs we talked about it for several weeks and we talked ourselves out of it. we didn't see the add in the paper again so we thought we were safe and didn't have to worry about my husband seeing the add and wanted this puppy. But yesterday my husband was home and was able to look at all the news papers and lord and be hold this here was the add John said lets check her out and see what we think well how can you not fall in love with this face!

So we brought her home she was very scared and hid a little she tried to sit on my husband lap but she was just to big. bed time was great she no messes and slept good. we very proud. she was happy to see all her brothers she played and had a good time until she had to be put in the girls bathroom and she cried and cried hopefully she will get better and have the house to her self may be in about 2 years. keep watching as Stella grows up to be a big beautiful dog.

this is just a few of the things i heard when while I was home for 2 day with my children i think that i heard I am hungry from all my children at least 5 times each so that is about 25 times them take that time 2 is way to many time to hear that I am hungry! so tomorrow when I am on day 3 with my children we are going to make cookies and they can eat all they want and not have to tell me that they are hungry they can eat when they want that is until the cookies are gone. then what do I do? maybe by then the kids will be so full they will all take a nap! who am i kidding they wont nap but maybe we could sleep in. lets just see what time the kids will get up and we can start over again. have a happy 2nd day of biter cold I now I will stay in knowing that we don't have school and I don't have to work so we are all good

Snow day

Woke up this morning at 5:30am I had to be the parent because John had to be in Des Monies early so I had to make sure the kids were up and ready for school. So I got up looked outside and thought 2 hour delay I can sleep in I turned on my computer and to see what Highland was going to do, to my surprise they were closed! I thought Well I have the day off I wasn't about to leave 4 11 years old in my house by themselves. I waited to see if I was going to get a call or if I needed to find a sub. I played on the computer until 5:45 and seen that I didn't need to call a sub, that made me happy. I could go back to sleep. Just as I was about to sleep my phone rang calling to confirm that Mid-Prairie was closed!
So I tried to sleep again, nope not yet I was woken up by bright light and Sassy looking for pants. I told her to go to bed school was closed she said OK and went to bed so that was easy. Until the boys got up the sun wasn't up yet so I didn't need to get up. I don't know who was louder Brodey trying to get into the boys' room or the boys trying to keep him out! Brodey wet back to bed so that was easy but the boys you could hear them talking.
Soon I was able to get some more sleep just a little but because as soon as the sun was shinning so was Toad he was up and moving. So I guess when you are a mother of 5 you don't get to sleep in. That is until the other parent gets home!
I love to be home with my children we get to hang out and not do much of anything I have some outside and some inside. Can you guess who is inside and who is out. Let me tell you if Toad can go out he is there in heart beat. That kids loves the outside no matter how hot or cold it is outside.
Snow days at our house are great days to sleep and be lazy do a little bit of laundry and pick up bed room the kids love to pick up bedroom part. We get to play games and watch movies we have a great day. I love snow days! Having snow days gives us more day with the triplets they still have to make up the school day so we get them for the snow day and the make up day it works great for me and John. We love snow days!

toothles toad

Toad is now a toothless wonder. He has had this tooth for a couple weeks he tried to put gloves on and pulled it a little bit it looked like he had a buck tooth it was getting looser and looser and I could stand it. It made me crazy to see his tooth just hang there. I hated it and couldn't keep my hand off of it so John made me happy and pulled it. Now he is ready for the tooth fairy to come.

I remember when Trayton and the triplet were losing teeth the tooth fairy would always forget to leave money and I had to make up reasons why he forgot. But not any more I have invested in a pirate Pete he has a special pouch to put the tooth in and he leaves it by his bed not under his pillow so the tooth fairy doesn't have to worry waking him up or forgetting to take care of the money swipe.

the things you have to do when you are a parent I am just glad that I have made it so much easier on myself!!! Toad loves the pirate and thinks it is so cool to have a special tooth holder.

Pig Cows and Toads

Toad helped his dad put together the barn and fence for the cows and pigs we are going to get in a few more weeks, months depending on when they are born. He keeps asking every day when they are coming? He can't wait to feed them. Now that the barn is just outside our back door I will never get to see him this spring and summer, he will be living with the cows and when the pigs come we have to make sure his shoes stay outside.I had to deal with the smell of pigs poo in the house last summer. not doing that again!

He got a farm set from his uncle mike and played with it all the time. He loves his pig and cows. He pretends that he is feeding the babies and scooping the poop. He loves everything about his farm set.

tonight at bed time I went in to check in on him and tuck him in he was sleeping with his pigs and cows he had his flashlight. He is ready to get up and be with his farm animals.
we had to get the kid some cows and pig stuffed animals to sleep with so he would come in the house and sleep in his room if he had his way he would have his bed right next to the cows.

when we get the cows and you want to see toad come on over to the barn and see him. we all now he will not go any where when we get the cows and pigs. Trayton will have trouble getting his time with the cows even though they are his 4-h projects.

when we get the cows this month you will get to see just who is with the cows more Trayton or Toad!

Birthday

This is Sarah Paisley Rhoads turning 11 she tells me that she didn't want to get any older but you can't stop it. She has her donut instead of cake. She says she can have cake with her sister. she loves donuts and would rather eat donuts instead.

Is there rolls to have cake on our birthday it is your birthday and there are no rules that says you have to cake so donuts work great.

you could make your own cake and put what ever you want on it like RayRay she made her cake with Memaw she had animal crackers, fruit loops, and sprinkles. it looked great.

When are you to old for a Barbie cake? My niece had her 18th birthday today and she had a Barbie cake and she loved it. I felt bad that we didn't get anything for her but she was happy with her cake. some time the little things you make for your family is worth more then gifts

I don't why but I think birthday are so special and I like to make everyone feel special on their birthday. I may not get to spend the day with the people I love but I try to give calls to every one, that is if I remember and have just a minute in my day to say Happy Birthday.

Just to let you all now that I make cakes and some turn out great and some have flopped but if you want or need a cake let me know. I have all kids of pans so let me know what you want.

Time to start a new year!

Happy New Year! Hope 2008 was a great year. For us it was great we made it to our 5 year of marriage Toad turned 5 and the 4x4 are not longer 4x4 lets try 4x11. We had a great summer with 4h winnings and foren exchange students from Germany and cousin from Kuwait.

Trips to water parks and Adventureland with the help KCII radio winning enough tickets to get my family in plus some others and renting a 15 passenger van to get all my kids and Michelle's kids and mom and a few others that just wanted to hang out with there cool aunt May May.

After a busy non stop summer we went back to school a few 1st Toad went to Kdg and the big kids started the middle school. I have no more babies in my house!
Willie started his year with upset stomach and pucking with nerves he was going to be in a class all by himself. what was he going to do if he couldn't be with his sisters. He figured it out and is making it on his own and he doesn't need his sister to hold his hand. Cheyenne figured out that she can get the attention that she needs by being loud and rude to her teacher. She has had 1 detention and working on serving her next one when we back to school on the 6th. she has a lot of dishes to do this week Danielle is turning into a very hard worker she is getting A's on her report card she is working hard. Trayton is trying to be the class clown and get in trouble with his sister Chey. He was yet to get a detention but when he gets on he will be doing dishes right along side her. Brodey was so good the first couple days of school and did what the teacher asked he was a good little boy until on day his teacher came up to me and told me he was out of control and needed several prompts to get under control. I told her that he got to meet the Toad. She asked that Toad stays home and I can only bring Brodey to school with me.

we hope that Toad will stay home this half of the school year.

John has his 12th year at Stutsman inc. he is still liking it until he works late and has to get up early and doesn't get to see his family very much. I started my 5th year at Wellman elementary I love it. working hard with two wonderful little boys we get to go on many field trips to see their little faces lite up when we go to McDonald's they love it.

things are great here we hope to have a great 2009 and we hope you all do too.
